The crash involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and a GAZ-53.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE INJURED
One of the passengers of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter sustained injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene.
Another 7 passengers of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter sustained various physical injuries. One passenger of the GAZ-53 was also injured.
All 8 injured people were taken to a medical facility.
CONTEXT
Another fatal accident occurred on 14 July on the same highway — Astana – Petropavlovsk. The crash happened near the village of Zhanatalap in the Bulandy District.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer lost control of the vehicle, after which the car crashed into a road barrier and caught fire. Three passengers died at the scene, including a 6-year-old child. The driver was taken to hospital with severe burns and injuries, where he later died.
According to available information, those who died were members of the same family. Among them were the child's mother, the six-year-old child, and the driver's sister.
