A representative of Stadler Kazakhstan LLP commented on a publication regarding the unaccepted Stadler carriages and stated that the issues with the braking systems had been resolved, and the trainsets were ready for acceptance by the customer.

WHAT THE COMPANY REPORTED

According to the representative of Stadler Kazakhstan LLP, the statement made by Aidar Ryskulov, Managing Director for Economics and Finance of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, on 10 June 2026, does not correspond to reality.

The company reported that the issues with the braking systems, identified at the end of 2025, were resolved by February 2026. It was also noted that from 28 February to 1 March 2026, test trials were conducted, after which the customer formulated additional requirements.

According to the company, all necessary modifications were completed.

WHAT CHANGED IN THE COMMENTARY

Later, the company representative's commentary was edited. The FBPC editorial team has two versions of the statement.

Information about the test trials, details of the customer's additional requirements for the braking systems, and mention of the participation of company representatives in additional tests were removed from the statement.

In both versions of the commentary, the company asserts that the issues with the braking systems have been resolved and the carriages are ready for acceptance by the customer. The editorial team publishes screenshots of both versions of the statement.

WHAT TESTS DID THE CARRIAGES UNDERGO

According to the original version of the commentary, after the introduction of additional improvements, from 21 to 26 May 2026 in the Akmola Region and the Zhambyl Region, additional non-certification tests of the braking systems took place.

The statement indicated that representatives of Passenger Transportation JSC, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) JSC, and Stadler Kazakhstan LLP took part in the tests.

According to the manufacturer, the tests were completed successfully, and the braking systems of the trainsets were deemed to comply with the established requirements. The company stated that the carriages were fully ready for acceptance by the customer.

The FBPC editorial team has sent requests to the Ministry of Transport and Samruk-Kazyna JSC for comments regarding the statements of Stadler Kazakhstan LLP and the customer's position on the issue of carriage acceptance.
