JSC 'Kazakhtelecom' has published its financial statements for 2025. The document shows that the total remuneration for the chairman of the board, Bagdat Mussin, and the company's key management personnel amounted to 752.3 million tenge.
WHAT IS KNOWN
According to the consolidated financial statements of JSC 'Kazakhtelecom', the amount of payments to key management personnel for 2025 amounted to 752.280 million tenge, compared to 906.564 million tenge in 2024. These expenses are included in the general and administrative costs of the telecom operator.

The published documents do not specify what portion of the sum was directly attributable to the chairman of the board, Bagdat Mussin, and what portion went to other top managers of the company.

HOW FINANCIAL INDICATORS HAVE CHANGED
Kazakhtelecom's net profit for 2025 almost doubled — from 77.2 billion to 146.9 billion tenge.
Revenue from core operations also increased — from 482.9 billion to 568.2 billion tenge. Taking into account subsidies and compensation for universal services in rural areas, the company's total income approached 587 billion tenge.
At the same time, the cost of services rose from 384.9 billion to 457.7 billion tenge. Despite the increase in expenses, the operator's operating profit amounted to 94.5 billion tenge, which is more than 50% higher than the previous year's figure.
WHAT INFLUENCED THE PROFIT GROWTH
The company cited discontinued operations as one of the factors for the growth in final profit. The statements indicate that income from this area exceeded 107 billion tenge, roughly double the level of the previous year.
At the same time, the company's financial expenses increased from 39.7 billion to 51.3 billion tenge. Additionally, the operator recorded a loss of approximately 16.7 billion tenge due to exchange rate differences.
