The Prosecutor's Office of the East Kazakhstan Region has launched a pre-trial investigation following an inspection at the State Public Utility Enterprise 'Nursery-Garden of Malonarym Village' in the Ulken Naryn District. According to the supervisory authority, the accountant transferred excessive salary amounts to herself and the head teacher, as well as funds intended for the payment of taxes and mandatory deductions.

WHAT THE INSPECTION FOUND

According to the East Kazakhstan Region Prosecutor's Office, violations were identified during an inspection of the activities of the State Public Utility Enterprise 'Nursery-Garden of Malonarym Village'. The investigation believes that the kindergarten's accountant, over a period of three years, accrued additional payments to herself and the institution's head teacher.

WHAT AMOUNTS ARE INVOLVED IN THE CASE

As reported by the prosecutor's office, a total of over 42 million tenge was transferred to the accounts of the head teacher and the accountant.

Furthermore, mandatory payments for 18 employees of the educational institution were not made for an extended period. This concerns funds intended for the payment of individual income tax, mandatory pension contributions, and social deductions.

WHAT STAGE IS THE CASE AT

Regarding this fact, the district prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation. No further information is disclosed in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
