Confiscated Lexus LX600 SUV from the case of convicted Perizat Kairat transferred to the balance of the Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM). The vehicle will be used for the official tasks of state bodies.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE TRANSFER
According to Informburo.kz citing the Astana Department of State Property and Privatisation, the transfer decision was formalised based on a protocol on the results of application review dated 13 November 2025, an order of the Committee of State Property and Privatisation dated 1 December 2025, and an acceptance certificate.
The department clarified that the vehicle has been deregistered and officially transferred to the balance of the AFM, which conducted the investigation into Perizat Kairat and her mother.
Confiscated assets are planned to be used to support the activities of law enforcement and special state bodies, as well as structures subordinate and accountable to the President.
Other property from this case has not yet been transferred to state bodies.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE VEHICLE
This concerns a black Lexus LX600 SUV with state plate number 100PKO01. The estimated value of the vehicle was 79,121,985 tenge.
The vehicle was registered in the name of the brother of Gaini Alashbayeva — mother of Perizat Kairat.
CONTEXT
The court found Perizat Kairat guilty, sentencing her to 10 years imprisonment with confiscation of property. Her mother, Gaini Alashbayeva, received 7 years imprisonment.
The court also ordered the recovery of material damages in favour of 50 victims totalling 1 billion 582 million tenge, as well as court costs and state fees.
Earlier, the Astana Department of State Property and Privatisation postedan announcement for the sale of another vehicle — a Mercedes-Benz S450. The auction for this vehicle is scheduled for 7 April.
