In the Bukhar-Zhyrau district of the Karaganda region, a fragment of cladding material from a House of Culture building fell on a three-year-old child. The injured child was taken to hospital, and a criminal investigation has been launched into the incident.
WHAT HAPPENED
A video of the incident was circulated on social media: the footage shows a man holding a child with visible traces of blood.
According to the Instagram page narodnyi.control.krg, the incident occurred in the settlement of Ulyanovka. Relatives said a facing brick fell on the child. The circumstances of the facade's collapse are not clarified in the materials.
WHAT THE POLICE SAID
The Police Department of the Karaganda region confirmed the incident. A criminal case has been opened under the article "Release or sale of goods, performance of work, or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements".
"The injured child was taken to a medical facility. He is under the supervision of doctors. An investigative team is currently working at the scene. Necessary investigative actions are being carried out aimed at a comprehensive and objective establishment of all the circumstances of what happened," the police noted.
