The editorial team of "Ak Zhaik" has reported difficulties in obtaining responses to official requests submitted to the Department of Education of the Atyrau Region and the city akimat. The press service of the Atyrau Region akimat stated that the situation is of a routine nature and that responses to the editorial team will be provided within the timeframes established by law.
WHAT HAPPENED
According to "Ak Zhaik", the requests concerned the operation of schools within the Binom network, funding issues, personnel policy, as well as other topics related to the activities of state structures in the region.
The publication reported that in response, it received a reference to the need for additional confirmation of the journalist's status. It is noted that the appeals were sent on official letterhead with an outgoing number and the editor's signature.
THE EDITORIAL TEAM'S POSITION
The editorial team stated that for many years it had interacted with the state bodies of the region in a standard manner and had not received such additional requirements.
The publication also noted that it considers it an important duty of the media to send requests and obtain answers on matters of public importance, including topics that arouse public interest.

In response to a request from the FBRK editorial team, the Atyrau Region akimat stated that the situation described in the publication is of a routine nature.
"This issue was addressed through standard working channels with the participation of the regional Department of Education. Interaction with the media continues as normal within the framework of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the akimat reported.
The department added that answers to all questions raised in the publication will be provided to the editorial team of "Ak Zhaik" within the timeframes established by law. Furthermore, the statement indicated that there are no claims between the parties.
