The wife of the wanted fugitive Argyn Nigmatulin - Naile Belbayeva owns elite property in Almaty with a view of the former residence of ex-president Nazarbayev.
According to the Telegram channel "Access to the Sea", the wife of the older brother Nurlan Nigmatulin owns a townhouse worth 1.5 billion tenge. The living area of the house is 600 m². The grounds include parking, a terrace, and a small garden. Also nearby is the home of Bakhyt Serikbayeva, the wife of Argyn's brother - Yerlan Nigmatulin.
"The residential complex, consisting of 12 townhouses, is located on Kerey-Zhanibek Khander Street (formerly Gornaya) in the Medeu district of Almaty, on the road to the famous Medeo skating rink. The complex boasts a gated territory and its own security. One of these townhouses (building 103/17, block 2) is occupied by the family of Argyn Nigmatulin and his wife Naile", the message reads.
The property is located on the territory of the former consumer cooperative "Almaly Gornaya 103 B", of which Naile Belbayeva was one of the founders. According to some reports, she still owns this asset.

It has become known that Belbayeva's former neighbour is Yeldos Kospayev, who was part of the inner circle of Bolat Nazarbayev. In January of this year, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for leading an organised criminal group. At the same time, among the neighbours of the elder Nigmatulin's wife are several people who headed various sports federations.
Furthermore, it is noted that Argyn and Naile own an apartment in Dubai worth 170 million tenge. There, in the name of Nurlan Nigmatulin's wife - Venera Baimurzaeva about 50 properties worth around 2.5 billion tenge are registered. Yerlan Nigmatulin also has an apartment on the Persian Gulf coast worth 300 million tenge.
For context, in early March, the eldest of the three Nigmatulin brothers – Argyn Nigmatulin was placed on the wanted list. According to media reports, Deputy Prosecutor General Asset Chindaliyev stated that the elder Nigmatulin is on the international wanted list.
It was noted that he and others are suspected of embezzling budget funds allocated for the development of hockey in the Karaganda region.
