The Aktau Akimat illegally allocated a plot on the Caspian coast while the entrepreneur had undeveloped land. By court decision, the land was returned to the state. The press service of the Mangistau Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

Analysis of compliance with land legislation in the Mangistau region is carried out on an ongoing basis, the regional department reported. Since the beginning of the year, 87 plots with a total area of 91 thousand hectares have been returned to state ownership. Their estimated value is 800 million tenge.

As part of supervisory measures, facts of illegal allocation and misuse of land were identified. The Aktau Akimat transferred an additional plot of 0.5 hectares on the Caspian Sea coast to LLP "I", despite the existence of an undeveloped main plot. By court decision, this land was returned to the state.

Also, within the city limits, nine cases of land grabbing of state-owned land were recorded. The guilty citizens were fined a total of over 2 million tenge.

In addition, 83 thousand hectares of agricultural land were returned to the state. An inspection showed that they were used formally: the number of livestock did not correspond to the established norms of pasture load.

Earlier, in June, the prosecutor's office of the Abay region returned 42 thousand hectares of unused land worth 516 million tenge to state ownership. The inspection revealed 104 plots that had not been used for their intended purpose for a long time.
