The Internal Security Division of the Kostanay Regional Prosecutor's Office, together with the regional National Security Committee department, have detained the prosecutor of the city of Rudny.
According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, he is suspected of committing a criminally punishable act. Investigative actions are currently being carried out.
Meanwhile, the Telegram channel "HALYQSTAN" reports that the city prosecutor, Murat Uspanov, is suspected of receiving a bribe of 20 million tenge for the termination of a criminal case.
The detention took place with the participation of a special unit in the 9th microdistrict of Kostanay near the 'Asia' shop.
As has become known, Uspanov had held the position of prosecutor of Rudny since September last year. His total length of service in the prosecutor's office exceeds 20 years.
