The Anti-Corruption Service of the Zhambyl region has stopped the criminal activities of employees from one of the border district police departments.
According to Ratel.kz, they are suspected of receiving bribes from foreign citizens in exchange for protection during the illegal export of fuel and lubricants abroad.
It is noted that during investigative actions with one of the suspects, he resisted Anti-Corruption Service officers by using his service weapon.
He has been taken into custody by a court order, and the investigation is ongoing.
