In the Atyrau region, police officers and active fathers continue joint night patrols to ensure the safety of minors. Since the beginning of the year, special teams have identified over 5,000 teenagers who were on the streets at night without adult supervision.
The initiative of the regional education department and the police department is aimed at preventing juvenile delinquency and improving the legal culture of society.

Joint patrol groups, formed from law enforcement officers and representatives of the parent community, regularly conduct raids in the evening and at night. Patrol members are guided by the principle of “the future of the nation and the safety of children begin with law and order”.
The main task of the raids is preventive work with teenagers. Police officers and active fathers hold conversations with minors found on the street after 11:00 pm without adult supervision. During such meetings, teenagers are informed of the requirements of current legislation, warned about possible risks, and reminded of their responsibility for violating public order.
Patrol groups pay special attention to entertainment centres and gaming clubs that are popular with young people. In these establishments, educational work is carried out on issues of maintaining law and order and safe behaviour.
The more than 5,000 minors found on the streets at night since the beginning of the year highlight the relevance of the problem and the need for increased control over the safety of teenagers.
The joint work of law enforcement agencies and the parent community is designed not only to prevent juvenile delinquency but also to strengthen interaction between the police and residents of the region. The participation of active fathers in patrolling demonstrates a civic stance and parental responsibility for the safety of the younger generation.
The organisers note that the initiative to strengthen public safety will be continued on an ongoing basis. Such measures should help reduce the number of offences among young people and improve the legal culture of teenagers.
