In Petropavlovsk, due to a break in power lines at the first lift pumping station of Kyzyzhar Su LLP, residents were left without water.
"The water supply will be restored once electricity is supplied to the pumping station. All social facilities will be provided with water deliveries. I ask you not to panic and to trust only official information," reported press.kz, citing Arman Sautov, Deputy Director of Kyzyzhar Su LLP.
In turn, the press service of Sevkazenego JSC stated that the outage occurred due to damage to supports by blocks of ice. No exact timeframe for restoring the electricity supply has been announced.
Meanwhile, it has become known that due to the lack of water, the second shift at the city's schools has been switched to distance learning. The first shift continues to study as normal.
