A project for a new Tax Code was presented in Astana.
According to zakon.kz, Vice-Minister of National Economy Azamat Amrin shared good news for motorists and pensioners.
According to him, there will now be reduced rates of vehicle tax for all individuals.
"If the car is more than 10 years old, the rate is reduced by 30%; if it is more than 20 years old, the reduction is 50%. Secondly, for pensioners we are reducing the individual income tax rate, meaning pensioners will not pay income tax," the Deputy Minister noted.
