Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has denied information about the transfer of apartments in the elite residential complex «Esentai City» in Almaty to the department.
WHAT HAPPENED
Earlier, the Telegram channel «They have already come for us» citing the state auction portal, reported that apartments in an elite townhouse complex worth a total of 3.2 billion tenge would be handed over to law enforcement officers.
The lot description noted that the property was intended for transfer to state law enforcement and special agencies in accordance with the rules for the use of property seized or transferred to the state by court order.
WHAT THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS SAID
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, in response to a request from the portal BES.media , stated that this property had not been transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and was not on their balance sheet. The ministry's structural divisions had not accepted these apartments either, and they have no plans to use them for any purpose whatsoever.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
«Esentai City» is located on Al-Farabi Street near the Esentai River. The residential complex, consisting of townhouses, villas and apartments, is classed as premium.
