The government plans to allocate 7.8 billion tenge from the Special State Fund, which holds 177 billion tenge in funds returned to the state, for the construction of a kindergarten for children with special needs in Aktobe.

According to the press service of the department, the kindergarten will accommodate 300 children. The facility will be equipped with everything necessary for the comfortable education of preschoolers.

"As of today, the region has over 2,523 children aged 3 to 6 with special educational needs, of whom 1,320 are enrolled in preschool education", the statement reads.

It is noted that the region currently operates 4 special correctional kindergartens.

Recall that in May of last year, it became known that in Atyrau, 6 billion tenge confiscated from corrupt officials were planned to be used to finance the construction of two schools with 600 places each.

In April of the same year, it was reported that the construction of 69 educational institutions would be completed using money from corrupt officials. Part of these funds was intended to be directed towards the construction of schools in the Turkistan region.

In October of this year, it was reported that funds from the Special Fund were planned to be allocated for the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda, Akmola Region, and a music school in the village of Temirlan, Turkistan Region

At the same time, Kazakhstan has begun implementing social projects using the 12 billion tenge returned to the state. One such project is the construction of a centre for modern culture in Almaty.

Furthermore, at the beginning of November, an additional 525 billion tenge was returned to the state treasury, which is planned to be used for the construction of a sports complex for gifted children with 120 places in the city of Arkalyk, a rehabilitation centre for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, and a training centre for people with special needs with 400 places in Almaty.
