The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has begun optimising budget expenditures. The number of forums and meetings held solely for reporting purposes is planned to be reduced.

REDUCTION OF FORMAL EVENTS

Zhuldyz Suleimenova, Minister of Education, held an online meeting with heads of regional education departments and territorial quality assurance departments. The department stated that educational resources will be directed towards real tasks, and formal events will be cut back.

The list of republican and regional forums and meetings is undergoing a review. Only projects aimed at the substantive development of education will receive state support.

MONITORING SCHOOL SAFETY

During the meeting, it was noted that the ministry continues to monitor the quality of crisis management in the regions and the safety of children. Heads have been instructed to oversee compliance with technical safety, the operation of video surveillance systems, security services, and the psychological climate among students.

Feedback from parents was highlighted as a mandatory part of monitoring safety in schools.
