In the first half of 2026, 2.3 million children underwent preventive medical check-ups. Various diseases were detected in 242,000 children, or 11% of those examined, with the most common being tooth decay, anaemia and myopia.
WHAT DISEASES WERE DETECTED IN CHILDREN
The results of the preventive check-ups were reported at a meeting of the Government by the Minister of Health, Akmaral Alnazarova.
Following the examinations, 86,700 children were placed under dynamic observation at local polyclinics. It is noted that this is necessary for further treatment.
