Prosecutors in the North Kazakhstan Region have helped resolve problematic issues for six investors who plan to invest more than 50.9 billion tenge in the region's economy.
According to the press service of the department, domestic investor LLP «Atameken Agro Oils» plans to implement a project for the «Construction of an oil extraction plant» worth 19.4 billion tenge, creating 252 jobs. However, it encountered a problem with flooding of the production site due to faulty sewage.
«As part of the work of the Front Office with the investor's participation, the current problem was reviewed and ways to resolve it were developed. Following the supervisory authority's representation, the akimat took measures to replace pipes, and additionally allocated funds for the reconstruction of the sewage system amounting to 100 million tenge», the statement said.
In another case, following appeals from investors LLP «EMS Agro» and LLP «Eurasian Milk», prosecutors established violations of deadlines for considering applications for expense reimbursement. As a result, thanks to measures taken by the local executive body, they were paid 1.2 billion tenge.
It is reported that another 31 investment projects remain under the scrutiny of the regional prosecutor's office.
