Former players and employees of the State Public Enterprise «Football Club «Kaspiy» have obtained wage payments from the enterprise through the courts.
According to Lada.kz, former futsal team player Talghat Utepbergenov, press officer Shyngys Amangeldin and ex-head of the futsal centre Zhaksylyk Alishbayev filed lawsuits against the club for owing them millions of tenge.
The Aktau City Court No. 2 ordered the FC's representatives to pay wages to the former employees.
«The claim of Utepbergenov Talghat Yesqabyluly, Amangeldin Shyngys Berikuly, Alishbayev Zhaksylyk Dabylovich against the state public enterprise on the right of economic management «Football Club «Kaspiy» for the recovery of debt under contracts for paid services - to satisfy. To recover from the SPE on the REM «Football Club «Kaspiy» in favour of Utepbergenov T.E. a debt amount of 1,191,935 tenge, in favour of Amangeldin Sh.B. a debt amount of 1,519,666 tenge, in favour of Alishbayev Zh.D. a debt amount of 4,277,741 tenge», the court ruled.
The football club disagreed with the court's decision and filed an appeal, but later the Mangistau Regional Court reviewed the complaint and upheld the decision of the court of first instance.
It is noted that this is not the first claim against FC «Kaspiy» regarding non-payment of wages. In 2023, 13 players of the futsal team took the matter to court.
«At the end of 2022, the SPE on the REM «FC «Kaspiy» did not make payments under the contracts in full, resulting in accounts payable to the plaintiffs (after deducting payments made and taking into account unpaid leave): to Grafsky A.V. - 4,659,090 tenge, Zhuma R.M. - 3,320,202 tenge, Tanatuly N. - 3,320,202 tenge, Sembay D.M. - 3,320,202 tenge, Shamro G.G. - 4,530,302 tenge, Rashit Zh.R. - 3,040,202 tenge, Bikeyev M.K. - 2,200,000 tenge, Nuraliyev Ye.K. – 2,400,000 tenge, Uzakbayev K.S. – 3,167,676 tenge, Yeldesbay O.A. - 1,600,000 tenge, Qairatuly A. - 3,622,727 tenge, Smakov A.M. - 6,335,353 tenge, Nurmakhanov Ye.Ye. - 6,440,404 tenge, Suleimenov D.S. - 11,125,756 tenge, Amangeldy B.M. – 807,575 tenge, Knaub A.V. – 4,100,000 tenge», states the court documents.
