In Uralsk, police detained a group of individuals who were impersonating law enforcement officers. Using violence, they extorted 500 thousand tenge from a student at one of the educational institutions.
According to Polisia.kz, in another case, operatives detained two residents of Shymkent who, threatening to disseminate compromising information, extorted 1 million tenge from a local woman.
Meanwhile, in Aktobe, a member of a criminal group was detained at the moment of handing over one million tenge and a Subaru car.
It is reported that the offender, along with three accomplices, extorted 8 million tenge by exerting moral and physical pressure on the victim.
Recall, in July, a resident of the Atyrau region was detained for extorting 1 million tenge. It was reported that the man extorted money by threatening to disseminate personal videos on social networks.
In April, in Shymkent, detained offenders who were impersonating police officers and, using force against city residents, took possession of a large sum of money.
