Information has appeared online that law enforcement has questions for the management of FC Aktobe

According to the Telegram channel "Grey CARDINAL", during the time Sergey Kulenko was head of the club, officials organised charter flights at inflated prices in 2023.

It is reported that, according to the Department of Internal State Audit (DISA), this resulted in the embezzlement of 165 million tenge.

"The case has now been handed over to the Anti-Corruption Service. If the guilt of the officials of FC Aktobe can be proven, they could face 7 to 12 years in prison", the message states.

Recall that earlier, the sporting director of the football club Zhetysu, Daulet Imankulov, was found guilty of embezzling 5.5 million tenge. He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of restricted freedom.

Furthermore, in June, the director of FC Zhetysu, Kalmukhamet Donsebayev, was detained. The reasons for the arrest were not disclosed at the time, however, a number of media outlets, citing the Anti-Corruption Service, reported that Donsebayev is suspected of embezzling budget funds in the amount of 85.4 million tenge

In addition, it was reported that the president of the "Kazakhstan Football Federation", Adilet Barmenkulov, has lost the trust of the UEFA leadership, and as a result, the Union of European Football Associations is conducting an investigation concerning him.

It has become known that UEFA is investigating why Barmenkulov took no action despite knowing about match-fixing by Kazakh football clubs, and what degree of personal interest he had.
