Residents of Shu reported a strange liquid in packaging of Petropavlovskoye milk, which visually did not resemble a dairy product. After complaints on social media, the manufacturer confirmed that a batch of the product, which arrived in the city in December 2025, had been deemed defective due to a technical fault at the production plant.
WHAT CUSTOMERS FOUND
As reported by iMedia.com.kz, the first reports appeared on social media: users posted photos and videos of packaging which, instead of the usual milk, contained a liquid resembling cloudy water. The complaints were accompanied by questions to shops and the manufacturer regarding product safety and quality control.
THE MANUFACTURER'S POSITION
The product manufacturer — Maslo-Del LLP — issued an official statement, in which it reported that on 3 November 2025 a technical fault occurred at the plant. As a result, a batch of Petropavlovskoye milk (2.5% fat), produced on 03.11.2025, was released and subsequently deemed defective.
The document states that the product reached retail outlets in the city of Shu in December 2025. The company declared that returns and exchanges of this product must be carried out without fail. Customers are advised to contact shops with their receipt to return or exchange the item.
WHY QUESTIONS AROSE
Despite the admission of the defect, questions remain in the public domain which, as yet, remain unanswered. In particular, it is not specified why information about the technical fault and the defective batch was not communicated to consumers immediately after the problem was identified.
