The advertisement was posted by Eurasian Energy Corporation JSC (EEC). The description contains a note: "The company head confirmed their identity with documents."

Previously, entrepreneur Talgat Akuov recorded a video address to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in which he asked him to monitor the criminal case against Nurlan Nigmatulin and his brothers. He claimed that the Nigmatulins were involved in the raider seizure of the property of the "Tas-Bulak" holiday home.

Among the alleged participants, the businessman also named senior manager Konstantin Skorobogatov of Eurasian Bank JSC. In response, the bank issued an official statement calling the accusations unfounded and qualifying them as slander.

On 26 January, the Prosecutor General's Office, commenting on Akuov's accusations against Skorobogatov, noted that a criminal case was being handled by the Department of Economic Investigations for the Karaganda Region but did not disclose its details.

For context, former Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin stepped down from his post on 1 February 2022 following the January events. He had chaired the lower house of parliament since 2016, in what was his second tenure as Speaker—he previously held the position from 2012 to 2014. Over the years, he also headed the Presidential Administration and served as Akim of the Karaganda Region. In early April, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened against his son, Nurzhan Nurlanov, under the article "Arbitrariness." Later, the Prosecutor General's Office stated that Nurlanov had not been recognised as a suspect in this case.

Erlan Nigmatulin – Nurlan Nigmatulin's twin brother – also served as a deputy in both the Majilis and the Senate. Both brothers have faced repeated unofficial accusations of raider seizures and possible ties to criminal structures.

Argyn Nigmatulin – their older brother, a former deputy of the Karaganda Region maslikhat. Incidentally, in July last year, it was reported that the regional prosecutor's office had returned the Saryarka hockey club, valued at 900 million tenge, to the state. It was also noted at the time that the hockey club was within the sphere of interest of Argyn Nigmatulin.

In March, Argyn Nigmatulin was placed on the international wanted list. He and other individuals are suspected of embezzling budget funds allocated for the development of hockey in the Karaganda Region.

Later, journalists conducted a detailed analysis of the assets of the eldest Nigmatulin brother, revealing an extensive network of business interests and properties in Kazakhstan and abroad.
