A construction company was dumping rubbish in an unauthorised location near the «Nurly Zhol» railway station in Astana.
According to Informburo.kz, citing the press service of the akimat of the capital's Sarayshyk district, residents of building No. 64 on Nazhimedenova Street complained about construction and household waste being dumped into a lake near the station.
The akimat noted that the land plot, which is privately owned by the LLP «Saryarka Business Comfort», has been allocated for survey work.
“The video shows a pit. Administrative measures are being taken against the construction organisation regarding the fact of backfilling the area and the pit with construction waste.”, the akimat reported.
Representatives of the construction company were given an explanatory talk about complying with the law when carrying out construction and installation work and about clearing the area of large-sized rubbish.
Recall that earlier, activists from the public movement «Zhana Adamdar» discovered an illegal rubbish dump covering an area of 70,000 m², located right outside the windows of the «Aiva» residential complex in Astana.
