In the village of Aidarly, Moiynkum district of the Zhambyl region, 200 children are studying in the akimat building and having lunch in the mosque.
According to «Khabar», in addition, another 140 primary school pupils are holding lessons in an annexe of the educational institution. The reason for this was the prolonged repair work at the school. It was supposed to have been completed back in October 2023, but the contractor missed the deadlines.
The education department stated that measures have already been taken - the school principal has been brought to disciplinary account, and a lawsuit has been filed against the contracting company.
In turn, the head of the education department of the Moiynkum district, Zhaidar Zhazyqbaev, reported that the repairs are almost finished.
«As of today, all internal finishing work at the school has been fully completed. Only laying the paving stones and landscaping the grounds remain. This was delayed due to bad weather. The contracting company plans to complete the landscaping by April 1st», he assured.
