Kazakhstan's largest developer «BI Group» has allocated an additional 5 billion tenge for housing restoration in the regions affected by the water.

According to the holding's shareholder Aydin Rakhimbayev, from the first days of the flood, «BI Group» responded to the disaster, not only transferring 500 million tenge for the urgent needs of the regions, but also providing local authorities with construction and specialised equipment, and human resources.

"Given the growing scale of the disaster, including the flooding of new towns, and the consequences of the floods, we have decided to allocate more substantial financial assistance, increasing it to 5 billion tenge", Rakhimbayev noted.

Recall, the flood situation is under the special control of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He called on businesses not to stand aside at this crucial moment and to extend a helping hand to the victims.
