Submitted by Вера Александрова on

The Almaty State Asset Management Department plans to purchase 100 new trolleybuses for 15.9 billion tenge for the State Institution 'Department of Urban Mobility of the City of Almaty'.

The announcement was published on the government procurement website. The technical specification states that the vehicles must be no less than 12 metres in length, equipped with video surveillance and air conditioning, with a total capacity of no more than 90 (including seating).

The goods must be delivered within 180 days from the date of registration of the contract with the treasury authorities. Bids will be accepted from 25 April to 10 May

Recall that in March, the Almaty Department of Urban Mobility published a tender notice for the development of a feasibility study (FS) for the first line of light rail transport (LRT). Around 344 million tenge has been allocated for this. The implementation period is 8 months after the signing of the contract.
