The limited liability partnership «Almatygaz subscriber billing centre» has been fined 83 million tenge for abusing its dominant position.
According to the press service of the Almaty prosecutor's office, the partnership did not carry out annual maintenance of gas equipment and gas-consuming systems.
"As a result of the inspection, administrative proceedings were initiated against the limited liability partnership under paragraph 3-1 of Article 159 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On Administrative Offences' and it was sent to court for consideration", the statement said.
As a result, the specialised inter-district court for administrative offences of Almaty held the limited liability partnership administratively liable, imposing a fine of 83.8 million tenge.
It is reported that the court decision has entered into legal force, and the fine has been paid into state revenue.
