In Pavlodar, the mother of the girl whose nose was broken by the son of an akim at school has been found guilty of failing in her duties to raise her daughter and fined.
According to zakon.kz, the decision was made in the specialised inter-district juvenile court of Pavlodar Region.
Earlier, a video circulated online showing a sixth-grade boy, later revealed to be the son of one of the district akims, beating up a seventh-grade female student.

In the comments, many condemned the schoolboy's actions, but there were also those who believe the girl provoked the conflict herself.
For example, Pavlodar city maslikhat deputy Gulzhaina Darimova commented that, allegedly, 'the girl led the boy on'.
"It's the same way many women provoke their husbands, who come home drunk, and then the wife attacks him, and the man hits her with full force. Such things happen, let's be honest", she says.
In court, the child's mother stated that the schoolboy beat her daughter because she asked him, without malicious intent, about the cost of his vest. Then the girl took a drink from the boy's backpack, and he started beating her.
In turn, the defenders of the akim's son told the court hearings that the girl humiliated the boy, made sarcastic remarks, mocked his clothes, and wouldn't leave him alone.
After hearing both sides, the court issued a ruling to fine the girl's mother in the amount of 52,000 tenge.
