The Kyzylorda prosecutor's office found that the city akimat did not send a notification to the authorised body about the start of road repair works.
"Before commencing construction and installation works, the customer is obliged to notify the bodies carrying out state architectural and construction control about the start of activities for the production of construction and installation works in the manner established by the law 'On Permits and Notifications'", the press service of the department said.
It became known that the city akimat began repairs on four streets without sending a notification to the Kyzylorda Region control department.
As a result, officials were brought to administrative responsibility and fined 25 MCI (92,300 tenge).
And in the Aktobe region, the Anti-Corruption Service identified serious shortcomings in the planning of road projects.
It became known that this year, medium repairs were carried out on the "Martuk – Dmitrievka – Baytorysai – Poltavka" road, for which about 600 million tenge was allocated from the budget. It is reported that 4 km of the renovated road became unusable even before the completion of the repair works.
It turned out that the contractor transported inert material over the new road surface because the project did not provide for a detour road.
In addition, when concluding the contract, instead of a two-year warranty period for the contractor, only one year was established.
Based on the results of the analysis by the prosecutor's office, the akimat of the Aktobe region revised the warranty periods for the repair and filed a lawsuit regarding the restoration of the road surface by the contractor.
