Emergency bridge in Almaty region washed away after heavy rainfall
Soil erosion around the emergency bridge over the Turghen River was recorded in the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region after a rise in water levels. According to local authorities, traffic across the bridge was already restricted in 2024, and its replacement has already been planned.
