A resident of Astana has claimed that she was unable to obtain a driving licence after successfully passing her practical driving test. According to her, the system failed to register the completion of the route due to a technical fault, after which her test results were annulled. The fault was later confirmed by an official inspection.

A resident of the capital reported that she completed all the tasks in the practical exam and received 40 penalty points, which corresponds to a pass. However, at the finish line, the GPS system failed to register the completion of the route. An official report was later drawn up confirming the technical fault, and the exam results were annulled.
According to the woman, she was advised to wait for a new exam slot. She also claims that many candidates are not informed of the option to obtain a report and submit an application after such incidents.

WHAT THE INSPECTION FOUND
According to "Government for Citizens", during the inspection, the circumstances of the incident, CCTV footage, and the technical condition of the hardware-software system were reviewed, as reported by Zakon.kz.
The inspection confirmed that the cause of the incident was a technical fault in the hardware-software system.
Following a working meeting, the service provider Radix Group of Companies LLP was instructed to rectify the identified faults within three working days and to take measures to ensure the stable operation of the system.
In addition, the branch of the state corporation in Astana has been instructed to review certain organisational processes for conducting practical exams and to take additional measures to minimise the risk of similar situations recurring and to ensure the uninterrupted provision of the state service.
