In Taldykorgan, two drug laboratories have been shut down, where, according to the investigation, two foreign nationals were producing synthetic drugs. During searches, more than 1.3 kg of mephedrone intended for sale was seized.
WHAT WAS DISCOVERED DURING THE SEARCHES
As reported by Polisia.kz, officers from the police department (DP) of the Zhetysu region, coordinated by the prosecutor's office, detained two foreign nationals aged 31 and 21. According to the investigation, they were involved in the production of synthetic drugs.
During operational-search activities, law enforcement seized laboratory equipment, chemical reagents, and over 1.3 kg of mephedrone, which is alleged to have been intended for further sale.
WHO HAS BEEN DETAINED IN THE CASE
According to the police, two foreign nationals are involved in the case. They are suspected of taking part in a single scheme to produce synthetic drugs. Following their arrest, both were placed in a temporary detention facility (IDF).
Investigative actions are ongoing. Law enforcement agencies have stated that they are establishing all the circumstances of the alleged criminal activity, including the possible organiser and potential accomplices.
