Murat Yergeshbayev has been appointed as the akim of the Kyzylorda Region. The corresponding decree was signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
WHO HAS TAKEN OVER THE REGION
By decree of the Head of State, Murat Nalkhozhayevich Yergeshbayev has been appointed as the akim of the Kyzylorda Region.
Murat Yergeshbayev was born on 12 April 1966 in Kyzylorda. He began his career in 1989. Over the years, Yergeshbayev held the positions of akim of Kyzylorda, as well as the Karmakshy, Shiyeli, Kazaly and Syrdarya districts.
In addition, he headed the regional finance department and the department of employment and social programmes. Prior to his new appointment, Yergeshbayev was a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the VIII convocation from the AMANAT party.
THE REASON BEHIND THE PERSONNEL CHANGES
The appointment followed personnel changes in the region's leadership. Previously, Nurlybek Nalibayev left the post of akim of the Kyzylorda Region. He was appointed as First Deputy Prime Minister.
