As of 1 May 2026, 140,800 people have been employed in Kazakhstan. Some citizens found work through state employment programmes, while others secured jobs via vacancies on the Electronic Labour Exchange.
HOW THE JOBS WERE DISTRIBUTED
According to the Telegram channel “QOGAM by SATZHANGRAM”, 50,600 people obtained work through active employment support measures. A further 48,300 people were hired for vacancies posted by employers on the Electronic Labour Exchange.
As part of the Head of State’s initiative “100 jobs per 10,000 residents”, 40,000 people gained employment. Another 1,900 people were employed through projects implemented by central government bodies.
WHAT SUPPORT MEASURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR BUSINESSES
In addition to employment, support for entrepreneurial activity continues in the country. In 2026, 9,000 state grants are planned for socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
The amount of each grant is up to 400 MCI, or 1,730,000 tenge. The funds are intended for the implementation of new business initiatives.
