A video message from employees of the section 12 of the Beyneu Railway in the Mangystau region has been circulated on social media. The workers are demanding the immediate resignation of their management.
According to the authors of the appeal, the cause of the latest conflict – already the third in recent times – is threats from the head of section 14, Yernazar Izturganov.
The employees stated that two unfamiliar people were present at a meeting on working conditions. According to the workers, these individuals began threatening them and interfering in the matters under discussion after the meeting.
In response, JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" reported that it would conduct an investigation into the workplace dispute among employees.
The company noted that the situation is internal and personal in nature, and is allegedly related to a misunderstanding between individual employees and the unit's management.
A working group from the central office of KTZ and the Branch "Directorate of the Mainline Network" has been sent to the Mangystau region to examine the circumstances. Specialists will conduct an internal investigation and assess the facts presented.
"Based on the results of the investigation, appropriate organisational decisions will be made in strict accordance with labour legislation and internal regulatory acts," the statement reads.
