In the Mangystau region, employees of M-Techservice LLP have gone on strike, halting work and making demands to the management of Mangystaumunaigas JSC.
According to Lada.kz, the company's workers recorded a video message to the government and Mangystaumunaigas JSC, in which they spoke about receiving redundancy notices.
"We demand from the management of Mangystaumunaigas JSC that the protocols drawn up on 26 November 2024 and 26 February 2025 be implemented. We are concerned about possible redundancies and the risk of being left without jobs. We strongly demand that Mangystaumunaigas JSC continue its cooperation with the contractor organisation M-Techservice LLP. If our demands are not met, we will not return to work", the workers stated.
The regional department of the state labour inspectorate reported that Mangystaumunaigas, together with the local executive body, are negotiating with the strikers to resolve the situation.
It is worth recalling that in November last year, in Zhanaozen, employees of the Drilling Operations Department of Ozenmunaigas JSC went on strike with demands to the company's management. The main grievances concerned the employment of former workers' children, social guarantees, and the terms of the collective agreement. The protest action lasted almost a month, after which the employees returned to their workplaces.
