The Akimat of Kyzylorda plans to seize part of the territory of the «Bіlіm-innovation» boarding lyceum for the construction of a sports complex.
According to informburo.kz, this was announced by graduates and parents of students.
According to them, the Akimat intends to take part of the site on which the football pitch and other infrastructure facilities are located.
“This territory is not just an empty plot; it is a place where our best traditions were born and strengthened, where many generations of outstanding people were raised. Here our children not only play football, but also learn about support, team spirit and mutual assistance. These lands include not only the football pitch, but also gazebos, areas for recreation and sports, which were built thanks to the efforts of parents and lyceum graduates. The loss of this significant part of the territory will destroy long-standing traditions and deprive children of an important space for comprehensive development.”, the authors say.
In turn, the press service of the Akimat stated that this land plot belongs to the state. It is noted that the total area of the boarding school is 4.6 hectares, and the area of the plot for the construction of the sports complex is 2.1 hectares.
Recall that earlier it was reported that in 2023 the Almaty Land Relations Department seized 222 land plots from citizens and various organisations. The purchase was made for projects such as: the construction of a transport interchange, a school, a clinic, kindergartens, as well as for the improvement and landscaping of the city.
