Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" Nurlan Zhakupov announced the liquidation of the subsidiary company LLP "Samruk-Kazyna Business Service".

For reference: LLP "Samruk-Kazyna Business Service" is engaged in outsourcing business processes for organising the fund's procurement procedures; replacing, providing and redistributing software licences; and technical support for the software of companies controlled by the fund.
According to Bes.media, the decision to liquidate was made as part of reducing state participation in the economy.
"The liquidation will be carried out within the timeframe and procedure established by law. The fund continues to work on improving efficiency and increasing the value of the group's assets, as well as getting rid of unprofitable assets", said Zhakupov.
LLP "Samruk-Kazyna Business Service" attracted public attention in October 2023, when Mazhilis MP Yerlan Sairov accused the company's management of awarding themselves high bonuses and premiums.
The MP claimed that the bonuses received by top managers were twice the company's profit. It emerged that the head of the company awarded himself 74.9 million tenge over the year, and the entire management team 274 million tenge. The MP then demanded an audit of the fund's financial activities and the legality of the bonus payments.
JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" commented on the situation, noting that the company's aim was not to increase profits from outsourcing services, but to reduce costs within the fund group.
