Temirlan Myrzakulov and Muratbek Kudebayev, relatives of the convicted former chief of police of the Almaty region Serik Kudebayev, as well as their partnership "Kensai-Agro", have been stripped of pasture land plots that were leased to them for 49 years.

The court upheld the claim of the Department for Land Resource Management against Kudebayev's son and brother, reports Nege.Aqsha. The court declared the lease agreements invalid due to violations in the procedure for granting the land.

Recall that in April 2023, Serik Kudebayev was found guilty under Article 362 ("Abuse of power or official authority") and Article 146 ("Cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, torture") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Later, Kudebayev was sentenced to a further six months for escaping. However, as a result, his total prison term amounted to 10 years and 3 months.
