The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MDDIAI) is checking JSC "Unified Accumulative Pension Fund" (UAPF), JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and the airline "Air Astana" due to a leak of personal data of Kazakh citizens.

According to the press service of the department, to date, the MDDIAI, together with the KNB and JSC "State Technical Service", have completed an analysis of the information security status of mobile operators.

"No facts of compromise have been established; companies are protected by domestic operational information security centres and work in close contact with the National Coordination Centre for Information Security of JSC 'State Technical Service'", the statement reads.

Recall that earlier a mass leak of internal data occurred at the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. Files containing confidential conversations and operational data were uploaded to the GitHub hosting service in open access. Among the published files, private data of subscribers of Kazakh operators Beeline, Altel and Kazakhtelecom was also found

At the same time, it was reported that among the leaked files, information from the UAPF from 2019 and data on the air carrier "Air Astana" were discovered.
