In the Karabalyk district of Kostanay region, violations in the area of mandatory social payments have been identified. This was reported by the district prosecutor’s office.
According to the supervisory authority, certain business entities had not been remitting mandatory pension contributions and contributions for mandatory social medical insurance.
WHAT AMOUNTS WERE ESTABLISHED
One enterprise had accrued arrears in mandatory pension contributions owed to 215 employees in the amount of 15 million tenge.
In addition, a debt for contributions to mandatory social medical insurance amounting to 2 million tenge was identified.
Overall, arrears in these types of payments were identified among 18 business entities totalling over 19 million tenge.
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE INSPECTION
As a result of the prosecutor’s supervisory measures, the arrears owed to 401 employees were repaid in full. The materials do not specify whether additional liability measures were applied to the entrepreneurs.
