At the beginning of autumn, it became known that the limited liability partnership 'Trading House TEK-Kazakhstan', owned by Nazarbayev's son-in-law Timur Kulibayev, was fined 1.6 billion tenge for violating antimonopoly legislation.
It was reported that facts of abuse of a dominant position were identified through the setting of monopolistically high prices for a complex of services for equipping locomotives.
Meanwhile, the editorial team of FBK has learned that at present, Timur Kulibayev's companies are getting rid of assets by funnelling them into another company owned by him, the limited liability partnership 'Kipros'.
Recall that through the limited liability partnership 'Kipros', Kulibayev holds stakes in the limited liability partnerships Emdeu Group, Joint Technologies, PetroRetail, Viled Group, the limited liability partnership 'Kazakhstan Aviation Industry', and the 'Qamqor Management' group, which services KTZ.
According to current tax revenues, in 2023, the limited liability partnership 'Kipros' has already paid around 1.6 billion tenge, whereas for the results of 2022, the amount of taxes paid was 1.5 billion tenge, and in 2021 and 2020 – 751 million tenge and 849 million tenge respectively.
According to the payment breakdown, most of the taxes are mainly paid to the State Revenue Department of the Medeu District, while administrative fines and penalties are paid to the State Revenue Department of the Bostandyk District, and property and land taxes are paid across almost all of Kazakhstan.
In various years, the head of the limited liability partnership 'Kipros' was the business partner of the Kulibayev couple - Raushan Sagdiyeva. Sagdiyeva was implicated in affiliations with Timur Kulibayev not only in the oil and gas world, but also in the scandal involving a land plot in the foothills of the Alatau.
It is currently not known where Raushan Sagdiyeva is. Earlier, journalist Denis Krivosheev suggested that she may be hiding in Singapore, where she owns expensive apartments.
The journalist also stated that Sagdiyeva should not have been allowed to leave Kazakhstan, as 'she is the key to all of Timur Kulibayev's assets and gold'. Furthermore, he recalled that Kulibayev's protégé initiated criminal cases against undesirables, gaining control of assets.
'The crone must be brought back, to find out how many criminal cases were fabricated on her orders and how many people she ruined! How many lives she has maimed! And she is not alone. Kulibayev's cancerous tumour has spread with metastases of Sagdiyeva, Nuriyeva and a whole host of other parasites!', - concluded Krivosheev.
