The head of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department hospital, Olzhas Yesseyev, is suspected of bribery and abuse of power.
According to ORDA, the investigation is being conducted by the internal security department.
It is reported that Yesseyev received 300 thousand tenge for general patronage in service. It has become known that the hospital where he worked primarily treats employees of internal affairs bodies, National Guard servicemen, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the prosecutor's office, and other departments.
It is noted that information about the detention of the hospital head had previously been circulated in various messaging apps.
There was even information about the arrest of the head of the North Kazakhstan Region Defence Department. It was reported that he allegedly received a bribe of 700 thousand tenge.
