The scheme of corruption facts in which the chairman of the fisheries committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nariman Zhunusov, and other individuals are suspected has become known.
According to the press service of Anticor, initially the director of a certain subordinate organisation in Almaty and the founder of a private enterprise in Shymkent handed bribes to the head of the fisheries resources department, who in turn forwarded them to the chairman of the fisheries committee.
At the same time, Anticor provided a screenshot of correspondence between the suspects, in which they agree on the amount of the bribe. Also in their chat, you can see payment receipts.
It is reported that a preventive measure in the form of 'House Arrest' with the use of an 'electronic bracelet' has been authorised for the suspect. He has fully admitted his guilt and is cooperating with the investigation.
Recall that earlier the founder of the FBRC, Kirill Pavlov, received information that the acting chairman of the fisheries committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nariman Zhunusov, had been detained while receiving a bribe. Notably, on the committee's website, he is still listed as the head of the department.
