Halyk Bank has put a park hotel owned by a Russian billionaire up for sale

Halyk Bank has announced the sale of a park hotel in the Russian city of Tula for 5.6 billion tenge. The property is located in the Shchyokinsky District on the territory of the Yasnaya Polyana Forestry. According to published photographs, it is the Azimut Park Hotel, which belongs to the Azimut Hotels chain, controlled by Russian billionaire Alexander Klyachin.

For reference: Alexander Klyachin is a Russian businessman and landowner, investor, founder and owner of the Azimut Hotels chain, and owner of the Hotel Metropol. In 2020, he ranked 60th in the Forbes list of Russian billionaires, with an estimated fortune of $1.6 billion (877.9 billion tenge).

According to the Telegram channel «Nege.Aqsha», the complex covers almost 8,300 square metres, with approximately 2,100 square metres occupied by unfinished buildings, including a VIP wing and a SPA centre. 

The hotel comprises five buildings, a sports ground, a gym, banquet and conference halls, children's rooms, a restaurant, a lobby bar, and an entertainment park with a campfire area and a rope course.

The hotel's accommodation capacity is 89 rooms of various categories, from standard rooms to suites and apartments. The complex includes three rooms with jacuzzis.

According to the bank's terms, the final amount of the transaction in roubles will be determined at the time of sale, taking into account the exchange rate.
