The former deputy director of the China Development Bank (CDB) Wang Yongsheng has been accused of bribery.

For reference: The CDB is one of China's three policy banks, primarily responsible for attracting financing for large infrastructure projects. As of the end of 2022, the total assets of the CDB amounted to 18.2 trillion yuan.
According to the Kazinform news agency, Wang Yongsheng received money and material assets from third parties to facilitate career advancement, obtain loans, and purchase bonds.
It is worth noting that former deputy general director of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Xu Wenrong was also charged with accepting bribes earlier.
