In Shymkent, a case of aggressive driving involving a Daewoo Nexia was recorded using a digital system based on artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Polisia.kz, the driver ignored a lawful police order to stop, slowed down, but did not come to a halt. When officers attempted to approach the car, he accelerated sharply — one of the policemen ended up on the bonnet.
The driver continued driving, creating a threat to the life of the officer. He was later detained. A criminal case has been opened against him for assault on a representative of the authorities. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
It is worth noting that this is not the first such incident in Shymkent. Previously, in April, a driver also tried to flee from the police, and an officer who blocked his path ended up on the bonnet. Despite this, the offender continued driving and carried him some distance. It later emerged that the driver was under the influence of drugs. The court sentenced him to 7 years in prison.
