It has emerged that the former president's middle daughter, Dinara Kulibayeva, owns a residence in the French Alps worth nearly 15 billion tenge

According to the Telegram channel "Access to the Sea", it is located at the foot of the Alps in South-Eastern France, in the small town of Megève, which has a population of 3,000. The property includes a plot of 64 ares, a main house with an indoor swimming pool, and a caretaker's house.

It is reported that in 2016, Kulibayeva, through her Luxembourg company "Regulus Holdings SA", together with former top manager of the holding company "Almex" and ex-owner of the brokerage firm "SkyBridge Invest", Adlom Yeskindirov, established a company in France called "La Pomme D'or". Yeskindirov's share of the €50,000 share capital amounted to just €100.

"According to company documents available to 'Access to the Sea', in 2017 'Regulus Holdings SA' opened a credit line of €22 million (nearly 11 billion tenge at the current exchange rate) at 2% per annum for its actual French subsidiary", the statement reads.

It was these funds that "La Pomme D'or" spent on purchasing the house for Dinara Kulibayeva. It has also become known that the current price of the ex-president's daughter's residence is approximately €30 million (nearly 15 billion tenge)

Furthermore, an hour's drive from Kulibayeva's residence is the villa of another person connected to the Nazarbayev family - former Deputy Prosecutor General Ulan Baizhanov. It is reported that he oversaw the processes of returning illegally expatriated assets to the country.

"A significant part of his biography, aside from his work in the law enforcement agency, is connected to leadership positions in the state-owned companies KazMunayGas and the Samruk-Kazyna fund, where he worked under Timur Kulibayev. Baizhanov is still trying to sell this property, but so far without much success", the statement reads.

Recall that earlier in Switzerland, the court of the canton of Vaud banned the renovation of the hotel "Fleur du Lac", owned by the eponymous company "Fleur du Lac SA", which belongs to Timur and Dinara Kulibayeva.
